WOW ...I have NEVER seen this level of insight from a Christian woman, EVER. There are many reasons for that. As I read your downloaded book .

I loved your book. I am a public health nurse for many years that work with teen/ single moms. I find myself quoting your book alot and I get wide-eyes and open ears. Some of their mom\'s cry when I speak that plainly about baby\'s daddy, who\'s in jail and get the look from them like \"finally someone besides me is telling her.

I am an artist and a writer and i know what you are going through. When i do shows to show my artwork, I often notice someone aiming a camera right at my work. when i jump in front of my work and tell the person that they are not permitted to take pictures, they act stupid, as if what they are doing IS legally permitted or that they really had no intentions of copying my work... i read what is going on with you and Steve Harvey. it is very obvious that SOMEONE read your book, then used the title and the foundation of your book to rewrite a male version with Harvey's name on it. maybe Harvey is not the one who did it and someone ghost/wrote the book for him to promote him as a radio personality; but someone in his camp surely read your book and copied it figuring that you wouldn't mind. People who think sealing the work of others probably have little talent or accomplishments worth stealing themselves. People who have no talent are always trying to steal the ideas and work of others.

I just wanted to say your words are powerful and for a young lady like my self, Im 23\" with no kids, i have a job and i work hard to make a living for myself, sometimes meeting a mate is a struggle because i feel i sometime\'s set my standards to high, but i dont mean \"you gotta have 6 figures high\" just \"can you have a job, live alone and tell the true about whatever ur situation maybe good or bad, cause trust is key in any friendship, relationship, or comittment these thing are very much needed know. Hearing that \"my self esteem is something within me and only i should control and own it\" Is just what i need to hear in order to contitnue to belive in my morals and values i was taugh growning up. See Ms.Carson im 23\" and i\'ve never been in a relationship i\'ve never meet anyone i can truly say cared or liked me that way , 90% of the guys i would encounter would just want it to be a physical thing never wanting to get to know me first hand especially nothing long term, i was taugh to respect myself and my body so i have choosen to be a virgin until i found someone who will like me enough to want to get to at least know me before attemping to try anything sexual with me, it\'s been kinda hard to found a MAN of that stature...lol...but i know there\'s hope and i refuse to give up because God is Good all the time!!!!! Reading your book lets me know that there is a man out there who will love and care for me in a respectful way if, I love and respect my self first. When I heard about Steve Harvey's book, I was a little frustrated because it covers a topic I have been trying to push myself to compose on and I KNEW he was going to destroy it. My instincts told me that he was not the right man to give women direction on how they should behave in relationships. Not sure why I felt this so strongly, but my feelings were confirmed when I looked in his book. I did not buy Steve Harvey's book. I glanced through it in a book store and have sifted through a copy here or there that friends have purchased, but I can't buy things that perpetuate the already crippling stereotypes about Black relationships. Much of the book was offensive. Much of the book was wrong. Much of it was not written for a woman, but for the manipulation of a girl. At one point he compares selecting a woman to Sports Fishing. I am only 28 and unmarried. I have a bachelors and a masters. I have been blessed to not have any lapses in my employment history (living in Metro Detroit, this means a lot). I have guardianship over my 17 year old sister who is a senior in High School and aspiring to be an actress. I am doing pretty well. While I do believe my doing well is part of the reason I am single, I do not believe it is for the reasons that Steve Harvey suggests. It is not my responsibility to decrease what I am capable of to increase the probability of having a man. Regardless if he is a good man. It is my responsibility to be all I can so in the event I end up alone, I love me, and if he is out there, he will love me more. I guess I am writing you because I was just happy to see there is an alternative. I am happy to see that someone recognizes the flaws in his message.

Last night, I read your poem (older woman and young girl) to my girls (10-14) at church and it was interesting hearing what they had to say. I will be using your book in increments to learn what they think and how they think their moms should have handle it. They actually want to read the entire book. It is unfortunately, that celebrities would take advantage of your profound work. Can a man tell a woman how it feels to have a cycle. Can a man tell a woman how it feels to be pregnant. Can a man tell a woman what cramps feel like. The answer is NO! NO! NO! NO! So I do not understand why woman would believe a man over a woman who feels, hurt and go through the same emotions. Are we so excited about celebrities no matter who they are and how out of touch they are for fame.

You go, Sharon Carson! I read the excerpts comparing your book to Steve Harvey\'s. Your book piqued my interest and I plan to purchase either the ebook or hardcopy. Women need to know how to respect themeselves and thus receive respect from our men. Your book is from the same coin but a different side or different view. In our country most of man only enjoy to play with woman�s feelings. They are too male-chauvinist. I�m sure most of women wonder how to handle the situation. I see on 'Veja Magazine' here in Brazil every week, the best sellers are the books of self help and relationship and behaviour. They have theys books in Brazil and they are best sellers and every woman friend of mine that I speak, they have these books. If I had a publication company I would negotiate with you.

First of all Steve Harvey is in no shape or form to tell anyone about relationships when he did everything in the fucking book. He didn't even work out his first marriage and now that he's married to a younger woman he thinks he know everything. Please anyone who wasted their money on buying book is stupid. But I will definitely read your book. Keep your head up honey!

I was insulted by the \'90\' day rule. My body is my temple(house) and I am not changing tenants every three months. Please keep promoting your book and your message.

Did Steve Harvey and his people know that Sharon Carson wrote the book, Act Like A Lady Think Like A Man? If he knew, shame on him. It's unlikely that it was a mere coincidence. He might have gotten away with it legally because it takes money to fight a court battle and I doubt that Ms. Carson has the resources to challenge him. All the best to you, Ms. Carson.
